Michael D. Hoyt
President and Founder
Paradigm Works® is the second chip consulting company co-founded by Michael. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mint Technology, Michael managed the company's tenfold revenue growth between 1996 and 2000. Previously, Michael was both a sales and marketing manager at Mercury Computer Systems. Michael was the company's #1 sales producer twice over the course of five years. He also successfully established Mercury's VAR marketing program. He won the President Award in 1991 for being one of Mercury's two top employees. Prior to joining Mercury, Michael spent five years as a technical sales representative for Hewlett Packard. In this role, Michael supported one of HP's largest worldwide customers under dotted line project direction from then CEO John Young. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
James G. Crocker
Vice President of Engineering and Founder
Jim brings nearly 20 years of management and hardware development experience to the company. Prior to Paradigm Works®, Jim was with Mint Technology for five years where he was a founding member, technical lead, and Business Unit Manager. As Business Unit Manager, Jim headed Engineering and Operations for a group of 35-40 engineers, successfully developing nearly 50 ASICs. For three years prior, he built, led, and participated in ASIC development teams for multiple ASIC development efforts. Previously, Jim has led and participated in a broad range of system, ASIC, and multi-chip module developments at the Center for High Performance Computing (Worcester Polytechnic Institute R&D Division), Encore Computer Corporation, and Calcomp. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
