Paradigm Works is seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex ASIC and FPGA solutions for use in AI, consumer, aerospace, telecommunications, storage, automotive, and computing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system & micro-architecture, digital logic design, synthesis, and timing closure.
Responsibilities
•Develop detailed design requirements and specifications for ASIC and FPGA-based systems
•RTL implementation using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
•Synthesis & timing closure implementation or work with others to achieve the same
•Design integration and test debug within module, SoC, and system-level simulation environments
•Collaborate with system, hardware, software engineers, and project managers to meet project milestones
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
•10+ years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and development
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debug skills, with ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions
•Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
•Experience with design tools and methodologies of mainstream EDA and semiconductor providers such as Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens, Xilinx, and Altera
•Scripting skills with one or more languages such as Python, Tcl, Perl, and shell scripts
•Ability to work from home, independently and in a team environment, and to effectively manage priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and project stakeholders
